Volunteer to help this year with the Wooden Boatbuilding weekend, if you can. This is fun event for all volunteers and participants who will take home their finished boats Sunday afternoon.

We will be setting up at Fair Haven Volunteer Fire Company on River Road in Fair Haven on the weekend of June 9th and 10th. We have eight (8) teams enrolled for this event and perhaps 2 more may be accommodated.

We plan to have breakfast and lunch both days, and launch 2 pm Sunday at River Rats down the street from the firehouse.

Volunteer to help out for building of the canoes if you like helping families or students in woodworking.

Volunteers will be asked to help serve refreshments as well. We will have prepared food and drinks for this event, so volunteers will assist in organizing and serving participants and other volunteers.

The number of participants and volunteers will be 60-70 adults and youths."
