Do you have teaching skills, mechanical skills, tool skills. Will you share these with our local youth. To do that, you need NMHA, because we can get you and young folk together, with a really cool goal. Build a wooden boat. You don't need boat skills, we have those. And you will too after your first session. We teach the teachers. But just showing kids how to countersink not too deep but deep enough, that sort of thing. And what tick mark is an eighth of an inch.

You do not have to be a member. Just tell us you are interested and would like to help, and a bit about your skills. We will get in touch.

Grant writing

NMHA has been very successful so far in acquiring grants. But this is an ongoing task for which we need more resources. If you believe in what we are doing and have skill in this area, please contact us. We can use your help.

Event Reporting

We are often remiss in writing an article about our events after they are over. We need people who love to write and want to see their efforts "in print". Well, ok "on this web site," because that is where it will most likely make a public appearance. Of course you have to attend the event, and get copy to the webmaster (that's me) a day or so later.
