The Bahrs' Museum Catalog

The cataloging of the Bahrs' museum collection was started in Mid 2011. The first effort was made by Scott Abel and Rik van Hemmen. After Scott departed for Illinois to complete his doctorate in maritime history, Rik van Hemmen engaged Red Bank Regional High School and High Tech High School students to continue the cataloging effort.

These students, Frankie Juliano, Melissa Fingado, Noemi Valdetano and Barr Turner, worked hard researching the models, taking measurements and photographs of the models and organizing all the data and information for publication in this catalog.

The catalog, soon to be published as a book, is an impressive document that will include essays about maritime history, descriptions of Bahrs' Museum and the models, and an extensive glossary.
