Joint Ventures




NMHA cooperates with local and national organizations with maritime heritages to develop and improve Monmouth County's connections with its surrounding waters and maritime heritage. In such joint ventures NMHA provides its knowledge, contacts and membership to achieve mutually desirable goals.

Of particular interest on a state wide level is the New Jersey Maritime Alliance, which is a loose confederation of New Jersey maritime and historical organizations that is managed by the Bayshore Center at Bivalve, NJ, home of the NJ Tall Ship AJ MEERWALD.  A particularly interesting feature of this effort is the Google map of NJ maritime history sites
